For over 25 years K+S Services has been providing our customers high quality, cost effective, and prompt delivery of servo valve repairs.
We specialize in obsolete legacy valves (Atchley, Schenk-Pegasus, Ultra, Dowty, etc) as well as most modern
electro-hydraulic servos. We utilize the expertise of our factory trained technicians as well as a
state of the art clean room to perform computerized static and dynamic testing of servo valves. K+S
Services is also the only authorized Distributor and service partner for Star Hydraulics Ltd. In the
United States.
In an effort to provide an accurate assessment of your valve repair quote, each valve is tested on our
run-in stand to evaluate its performance. Once this has been completed, every valve is disassembled and
inspected. All components are ultrasonically cleaned and evaluated to determine if they are within OEM
tolerances or have to be replaced. Internal parts are inspected using a camera mounted microscope to
identify the possible contamination source. Once the evaluation has been completed, a
Failure Analysis Report is generated with the repair quotation. This report informs our customers of not
only the condition of the valve, but also any anomalies in their oil that may be limiting the valve from
extended services.
Upon the approval of the repair quotation, the valve will be reassembled replacing all worn, missing or
broken parts with OEM parts. All filters and seals are replaced on every valve. We upgrade the seals to
Viton to improve the longevity of the operating valve. At K+S, we don’t believe in simply providing
certificates stating that your valve has passed its test criteria, we provide Static and Dynamic computerized
testing. These computer generated graph reports are sent back with every repair and a copy is kept on file
for any future reference.
We believe in the quality of our repairs so much that the warranty period we provide encompasses the
entire valve for a period of 13 months in service. In the event that your valve cannot be repaired
economically, we can provide a drop in replacement on most foreign and domestic servo valves. K+S Services
